Magic Level and mage ranks

From First-Year Student to the highest rank so far, one exam at a time

Each cap holds your Magic Level until an Advancement Exam, which also lifts Obedience and the strength of the wild.

Caps every ten levels From Lv. 20, each cap waits for an Advancement Exam.

Each exam makes you the next rank and lifts both caps.

1 First-Year Student From the start Magic Level up to 20 Jinies obey up to Lv. 20
2 Apprentice Mage Exam at Lv. 20 Magic Level up to 30 Jinies obey up to Lv. 30
3 Jini Researcher Exam at Lv. 30 Magic Level up to 40 Jinies obey up to Lv. 40
4 Mage Adept Exam at Lv. 40 Magic Level up to 50 Jinies obey up to Lv. 50
5 Jini Scholar Exam at Lv. 50 Magic Level up to 60 Jinies obey up to Lv. 60
6 Jini Mage Exam at Lv. 60 Magic Level up to 70 Jinies obey up to Lv. 60

Stuck at a cap? The advancement quest unlocks once you reach it.

In gameOnce you reach a certain level, you must complete advancement quests to progress.
Above your Obedience Capture odds drop, and a caught Jini may still flee in battle.

In gameAnd even if you do capture it, that Jini might still run away during battle.

Attend the Advancement Exam

Your world grows with you: wild Jinies and Alphas follow your rank.

Stronger wild Jinies Higher-level Jinies spawn after each advancement.

In gameAfter advancement, your World Level increases, and higher-level wild Jinies will spawn.
Better rewards Alphas and other modes pay more at a higher World Level.

In gameAs your World Level increases, defeating Alpha Jinies and completing other game modes will grant even better rewards!
